Created through a process called Nerikomi, this bowl is made with tiny squares of dark and light clay, bonded together to form the three circular forms on each side of the bowl. The same dark clay is used for the bowl’s base, and the lighter clay is used for the center handles. The concept for this piece is organizing pieces of the past into a harmonious pattern that informs our future rather than holding us back in life.
Food safe, microwave, dishwasher and oven safe, fired at cone10 with Steven Hill Clear glaze.
