Fired at cone10, this bowl is food-safe and able to be put in the oven, microwave, or freezer. A functional and versatile vessel, it can also be appreciated for decorative purposes when filled with some fresh apples or limes and smooth enough to allow a homespun ball of yarn to gently uncoil while knitting.
This piece is hand made, dried, fired, glazed, and re-fired at cone10, which is the hottest kiln. The glaze chosen is food-safe, and this bowl holds water and may be used in the oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer safely.
