Four legs support this hand-built Amador clay bowl, which is glazed by BCT white and is food-safe and dishwasher/oven safe. Amador clay has a high level of iron in it, which creates the rust-colored underfloor as the BCT white glaze separates into white and clear areas. The legs give the bowl a sense of personality and provide stability and structure for the form, while the repetition of extruding and intruding rectangular pieces around the top of the bowl adds visual interest and interplays with the mottled appearance of the BCT white glaze.
