Absence

Signed fine art print of an original cut paper collage, “Absence”. This image is featured in the Netflix documentary, “The Rachel Divide,” and is made from small pieces of recycled paper. Revealing an abandoned home on an island in the ocean, a spirit releases into the sky with a burst of flames, showing that sometimes when we have no place to call home there is a heavy sense of loss and absence of family but is also an empowerment in freedom from attachment to a strictly domestic or traditional life.
