The original was created while in college in Jackson, Mississippi and celebrates the legacy and inventions of George W. Carver by using the nouns in a biography about his life as the sub-texture throughout the portrait to add a layer of meaning and intrigue to his likeness. One of the early STEM pioneers, Carver contributed massively to American industry and inspired many other inventors who followed in his path.
